Atrium Angels was an idea waiting to happen. Founded in April 2021 by Abhishek Nag, Varun Laul, Umang Kumar, and Karthik Bhat, it set out to support the next generation of entrepreneurs emerging from the Indian School of Business.
Our approach was clear from the start: capital, mentorship, and access to networks. The first corpus, backed by 30 ISB alumni, led to 11 investments. With two exits, two wind-downs, and seven active investments, the portfolio reflects the dynamism and resilience of the founders we back.
In 2023, we launched Fund II, scaling the corpus 10x and earning the trust of 110 investors—80% of whom reinvested from Fund I. With 60% of the capital deployed, we remain deeply engaged, investing the balance in promising ventures.
We continue to work closely with ISB and its on-campus incubator, I-Venture, positioning Atrium Angels as the first port of call for ISB founders across programs.
